New Selfies

Helloooo!!.

I am back w/ more photos of myself. Since my model cancelled on me - I might as well take advantage of it, right?

Well - here is the turn out. Its hard being the photographer and the model at the same time. Trust me, i was sweating by the end of this shoot. Flash, tripod, and remote.. ohh and the camera of course. :)

the hard part was positioning myself in front of the camera to make sure i am within frame, and hopefully that my auto focus is working correctly. Pose, and press the remote to shoot. :)

Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

I shot these photos in my bedroom using a flash. i couldn't get the wireless trigger to work w/ the flash i have, so I just attached the flash onto my hotshoe of my camera. (flash: Yongnou )

I'm throwing in a before and after photo. :) LMK what you think?

Amy's Photography

Ooooh - I guess here is another entry.

I been doing "Photoshoots" lately. I had the chance to work with my twin cousins. Sandy and Wendy. Both at different time since one lives in GA now and the other one lives in Sac. Both gorgeous girls.

Can you even tell them apart? :P

heheh

Wendy's shoot.

Here's a few from Sandy's maternity shoot. <3

I wish my desktop was "calibrated" because I seriously had to check my ipad/note2 to see if the color is good.

I just recently downloaded LIGHTROOM, so hopefully I'll get the hangs of that soon. Supposedly, editing colors in lightroom is more easier. but I guess we shall see.

Its been a while.

I guess I should update. I don't even know if anyone reads my Blogspot- but I guess this will be more like a journal.

Well- Where should I start? Umm.

I actually cannot believe that half a year has gone by since the day Boyfriend asked me out. LOL <3 I'm surprised we actually stuck it out thus far. He is wonderful. Maybe a little too perfect - and that is what I am afraid of. He is definetly a hopeless romantic. He remembers things well. He taught me to appreciate flowers. I never really cared for flowers until he came along. He sends me flower once a month. I guess honeymoon stages do last longer when the distance between us is greater. (he lives in Mn, I live in CA)

17 days in counting until I get to see his handsome face again.  We are planning to go to the Happiest place on earth. Disneyland. Since Disneyworld is a little too far for us - Disneyland is the next best place. I guess there is stil a kid in each of us. <3

Distance sucks sometimes. We can't do what "normal" couples can do. Going out to eat with friends and family.. or attending birthday parties together. But when we do manage to see each other - it is just US. No one else. I guess in a way it is good. We are both very busy with work.. and when we do take a weeks worth of vacation for each other- its totally worth it.

Sometimes he drives me crazy - and sometimes he annoys the heck out of me but when he stop texting, stop calling or stop annoying me - i find myself missing him. I guess i really do admire this man.

I miss you - and I cannot wait to see you. :)

Grudges

I dont hold grudges. But that doesnt mean that I'll forgive. Especially someone who broke my fucking heart. It takes more than making amend to get back what you had. And for sure you aint worth it.

Shopkicks!. yay!!.

So, I been really into this APP lately.
I also introduced it to my coworker whos also in love with it. It is pretty much an app you can DL to your smart phone, go through the "Look booK" Unlock the stores that supports it such as target, macy's, AE etc and walk in, collect points. Also, you can scan the items and get kicks as well.
So far, i already redeem enough points for a Naked 2 and a Tarte Bronzer from Sephora!!.

Its def. worth it for girls who loves make up, and loves to shop. You can def. save yourself a few bucks!!.

JOIN!! : DL the link to your smart phone. : http://app.shopkick.com/wr2/cobalt7843

A Piece of me left...

It was so hard to see him leave. To see him walk away moving further and further from me and then finally disappear into the dark windows. They say that departing is the hardest thing when you're in a long distance relationship. But I think the person who actually HAVE to go back to his home will have it harder than the person who he visits.

I didn't think that with him being here for just a week will make me miss him. Though I had to work 8-5, M-Th - he was there to pick me up, bring me lunch, cook for me and even clean my car. In my head I'm thinking "ahhh, so this is how it feels to have a boyfriend...." I'm sad to see him go - but excited for the next time I get to see him.

Until then...

xoxo. IMY.

Good things do come to people who waited

Thank you for always spoiling me. <3 they say he was the lucky one. In my opinion, I think I'm the lucky one to have such a wonderful boyfriend who tells me I'm beautiful daily. Who makes time for me no matter how busy work gets for him. For always texting me back, for always picking up my calls. For being my alarm clock in the morning. For always telling me good night. Who always makes me feel loved and be love.

Ha! I guess this is the first lovey dovey post. Thank you for making me not envious of other. For showering and showing me that having someone there isn't so bad after all. Thank you, boyfriend.  I may not show it, but I really do adore you. :)
